It is good to know more than 30 million people visiting Japan from overseas but sometimes there still seems to remain strange English even in
Tokyo.
On the Tokyo Subway station(Mita line) platform doors I found a caution saying "Be careful not to catch your hands in the platform door”.
Do they want to convey a message like “Be careful not to get your hands caught in the platform door." or "Keep away from the home door."?
I sent such suggestions to Tokyo Metropolitan Government a month ago but no response yet.
